Work
Classical Vocalist - Current recurring contracts include KC Chorale, Kantorei KC, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, St Mary-St Anthony Parish (KCK) and Trinity Lutheran (Mission campus).
Music Support - Program Director for Kantorei KC; budgeting, finance, fundraising, board support, grant writing, and of course direct service as a music mentor to low income youth.
Constituent Services Aide, Congressman Dennis Moore - six years listening to the community and helping people with Federal Agencies (e.g. Veterans Benefits Claims) with focus on Veterans, Military Families and Wyandotte County Community Outreach.
Missouri Organizer, Coalition Against Bigger Trucks - Statewide grass roots organizing effort. Moved the entire MO Congressional delegation to oppose the expansion of more multi-trailer "truck trains" onto our highways.
Field Organizer, KS 3rd Congressional District, Kansas Democratic Party - Organized volunteers to get out the vote!
Operations Director, Uplift International - Admin and operations work for an organization that airlifted donated medical supplies to Vietnam.
Executive Director, National Gulf War Resource Center - Advocated for US Gulf War veterans with Gulf War Syndrome. Organized local chapters for grass roots work.
CFO, Wheat State Pizza - Finance and payroll for six stores and over 100 employees. No, it did not survive the Great Recession. But it was invaluable experience, also great pizza!

Downtown Shareholders - Active member when Wheat State Pizza had a store there.
Kansas Democrats - Dozens of hours each campaign in 2018, '20, '22 and '24 getting out the vote for whoever was on the ballot. Almost all door to door, except in 2020.
Westport Listening Project - Committee that interviewed dozens of people in and around Westport on behalf of Westport Presbyterian. This work led directly to the community room, shower ministry, and other programs which are part of the church since it was rebuilt from burning in 2011.
Recording Academy - Represent KS-03 (US House) musicians every year since 2017 by meeting with Congressional Staff in the local office to support legislation that helps recording artists. Thanks to thousands of musicians doing this around the country, more than half a dozen of our bills have become law in that time, improving our rights to our music and our ability to create and distribute music of every genre at every level.
